Fall

"It is fall. The leaves are changing. Our lives are shifting. And everything is exactly where it is supposed to be." - Amy Chan

Made a decision without any back up plan, but I know it's for the better good. My life is only going to be better from now onwards! (:

Age Crisis

Helpppppp!! Having age crisis here!!
Current age: hint hint *Spot that key on my neck*
Projected age: 12

Haha was just trying to match my pink lippie with a pinkish outfit, the turned out made me looked young.
My date even told me "I prefer you to dress older the next time." LOL

Gym

Felt fat after a buffet, dragged myself up the following morning to gym with mandarin orange! Died at the class because it was so tough (more like we are lousy), but have the energy to camwhore at the changing room. Haha girls will always be girls!

School - End of Tri 2 Intensive 1

Celebrated the end of Tri 2 intensive 1 by FEASTING with my girls! Went to my fave ramen restaurant for a satisfying lunch and some yummy cakes for after-school tea.

Look at the yummy bowls of ramen!! Loved their broth, heard that they take 2 days to prepare them and the BLACK PORK!! I don't know why, but they taste so much delish than normal pork.

After class, we braved the rain just to have selfish tea at Selfish Gene Cafe. Look at how "selfish" the cafe is, they painstakingly baked their cakes individually instead of taking the easy way out, baking a big loaf and served them sliced. We all know "sharing is caring" right?? So... we shared them with each other. Oh so caring~~~ (:

Had sooo much fun with my girls even though we were having some identities crisis among ourselves, which caused us to laugh non-stop at both eateries. Always thankful for them making all the intensive weeks better for me! (:

Dignity Kitchen

First time volunteering at Dignity Kitchen and it was a wonderful experience!
Essentially, Dignity Kitchen is a social enterprise, providing training programs to the disadvantaged, physically-challenged and low-income families on Hawker Management. At Dignity Kitchen, the learners get to pick up cooking skills, hawker management and people management skills as they practise realtime at the operating hawker stalls.
Thanks to the Corporate Responsibility module I'm currently studying, I began to understand how noble social enterprises are and I salute them for doing their part for the society.

Today is Elders' Day Out, we guided the elderly from the bus drop-off to Dignity Kitchen to have their meals and entertain them.

This granny is the champion of the lot, she walks relatively fast and always overtaking the others. Haha! Asked her what's her age and she told me that she's 25. So cute!

Another granny who refused to smile because she has no teeth, but in the end she did when I kissed her! Love her!

The purpose of the event was to make the elderly happy, but seeing the smiles on their faces I think they make me happier (:

Lastly, I'm sooo glad to be doing this with my girls because everything is better with them!! (And yay to getting our school tees!)

2014

Had an amazing life changing 2013, 1) accomplished things I never thought I have the capability to do, 2) challenged myself and stepped out of my comfort zone in many occasions and 3) I got to meet & know incredible people whom I can learn from.

Now in 2014, I'm gonna make time for myself to do what I love! (: and not forgetting all the exciting plans awaiting for me! :D

Thanksgiving

Yippee! Made it through the hectic seasons and completed 18 events! :D

It's thanksgiving and there's so many things to be thankful for, but I wanna specially thank the people in my life this year.
Been telling everyone I'll be free after [date] to catch up, which is a rather long time and they are always willing to wait for me (:
Having to cope both studies and work is anything but easy... That's why I'm duper grateful to have my eastie girls who are always so understanding and helping me with the bulk of school stuff.
Not forgetting friends who were there for me when I've too much going on in my life.
Could never accomplished so much this year without all of them.
